The Foundation of American Women
in Radio and Television

In 1960, AWRT became the first professional broadcasting organization to establish an educational foundation.

The Foundation of American Women in Radio and Television, Inc. supports educational programs, charitable activities, public service campaigns and scholarships to benefit the public, the electronic media and allied fields.

The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3), nonprofit, educational organization, funded by contributions. It is directed by a volunteer Board of Trustees  and advised by a Board of Honorary Trustees comprised of industry leaders.
